There are six remaining Kmart stores in the United States: one in Miami, another in Bridgehampton, NY, three in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and one in Guam.
The Bridgehampton location, the last ‘full-service’ store on the mainland, is scheduled to close in three days.

They must be doing something right when they sell for lower than just about everyone and not paying their associates a decent wage.

I make it a point NOT to go to Walmart unless I have no other choice. Same with Amazon.

I do that too. The last time I went to Walmart was back in July when I found myself needing a laundry bag and had no idea what other store might sell one. I went ahead and bought some clothing and groceries since I was already there, but haven’t been back since.

I also apply that policy to Target because I doubt they’re much better.

At the time I was living in a hotel and the laundromat was on the fourth floor. Should I have just carried everything in my hands? Or should I have bought a roll of Hefty trash bags that I didn’t otherwise need so I could walk around like a disheveled hobo? Just because I do blue collar work doesn’t mean I can’t have some dignity.
