I’d say just ignore them and they’ll go away, but the depths of the autism on these people reaches unimaginable levels.
I’ve got some anon who’s been stalking me for years. If you ignore them they’ll just start same fagging a conversation with themselves for days and days and days, giving you constant pointless fucking notifications.

Hey, here’s an idea. I suggested before giving people a way to disable anons from being able to comment on shit, but if not that, then why not at least an option to not get notifications from them?

Is the site staff just never going to do anything about transflag-vector guy?

This is why I would rather have a dedicated thread for new volunteers…

Or the moderation has gotten even slower than the site. And I mean no disrespect towards the mods here. I imagine they’ve got their hands pretty full right now and I’m not blaming them for this. But it’s never taken more than a day or two for reports to be dealt with.

I don’t want the power. Quite frankly the idea of volunteering stresses me out. If you look at the past couple days of messages, I was mulling it over, unsure if it was a good idea or not. I’m constantly working all hours on my art and don’t have a whole lot of free time to deal with drama.

And I will take no for an answer if it comes from the staff themselves and not some random anon.

I don’t see any need for more moderators because this place is quite slow and things have been running pretty fine so far.
Plus, whenever somebody jumps out from nowhere just to ask to be given power and refuses to take a no for an answer you immediately raise the biggest red flag ever.

I mean, I’ve been here since the beginning. I’ve been making show accurate lewds since 2018. I would say I’m right up there behind Metalhead as one of the more well known artists who consistently make show accurate lewds. I’m not like some random nobody who popped up after hearing about the drama and decided to keep the fires going. I’m a part of this community who cares about the situation. Also, can’t say it’d be very good for my reputation if I did something shitty like that.

Can you suggest a better way? Besides whoever applies are very easy to expose. They have absolutely no power when removed. What can they do?

That sounds like the perfect way for Derpibooru trolls to try to infiltrate this place to either ruin it from the inside or to “suggest” changes that will just happen to suit Derpibooru’s own interests.
As far I can tell, this place is doing fine and has no need for any new staffers.

They should make a thread for staff applications.

I really don’t mind. I in fact do embrace the wild west side of things. I only intervene when I need to.

As an artist this site is important to me. That’s my job and this site plays into it. I’ve got a whole comic that’s going on over 70 pages now that’s been going on for over a year and I don’t feel like migrating it to another site.
