I mean, I think after this incident no-one here even wants to be a mod. Sad truth is that despite the fact that they’re just a bunch of chill dudes that want to run a MLP booru site as well as they can without getting into any legal trouble, they have a very thankless task and there are too many groups around that treat them like the devil and act like this is the worst site on the internet if they make even the tiniest little human error.

I mean, think about what exactly you’re asking here:
“Hey, do you want a second job that you don’t get paid for, where everyone expects you to act as a flawless pillar of free speech and wild west internet ethics in a world where the capability to do that is increasingly out of your control due to regulation laws being passed from on high from corrupt politicians? Don’t think you’ll be too small to notice either, this isn’t like Ponerpics where no-one really cares that you exist, you’ll spend your entire career being harassed and doxxed by an army of obnoxious little wannabe nazi-hunter shits and if you make the tiniest little slip up your own community will join in on the dogpiling?”

Why good sir, what proposition! After taking literally no time to think about that at all-as any amount of time was completely unnecessary-I have decided my answer is: “Hell-the-Fuck-No-Sunshine”. I have far too much shit coming from my actual work, with a boss that does actually pay me to put up with her Karen-tier whiny, entitled bullshit. I don’t want to waste my precious free time doing this, it sounds truly awful. XP
You want me to be a mod for Ponybooru? I charge a rate of $45 per hour (as a start), plus triple for overtime and dealing-with-drama hazard pay. And I expect weekends off, I literally do NOT give a SINGLE FUCK if the entire site is on fire and every user has quite literally spontaneously combusted and I alone can save everyone. That fact does nothing for my work-life balance, thanks.
