(Ahem) There are fewer stars in the Milky Way than there are trees on Earth. According to statistics, there are around 3 trillion trees on the planet and about 100 billion stars in the Milky Way on the low-end and 400 billion on the high end. But I’ve seen even higher numbers thrown around.

Scientists have developed what they call living concrete by using sand, gel and bacteria.
 
Researchers said this building material has structural load-bearing function, is capable of self-healing and is more environmentally friendly than concrete – which is the second most-consumed material on Earth after water.

Even if the Moon was made of cheese gravity would transform it into rock within only a million years or so.
 
If the Moon was made of cheese the gravity would collapse it on itself squeezing all the moisture out creating a planet-wide ocean that would gradually evaporate because the Moon has no magnetic field. The solids would be crushed down by gravity, separating out by mass the deeper they go, creating a rocky crust with a metallic core.
