It’s because many modern people are so thoroughly indoctrinated into intersectional thinking and critical this or that theory they can’t tell right from wrong and end up sympathizing more with villains than the villains victims.
That’s how we keep ending up with a guy who has been arrested 42 times for, among other things, assaulting pensioners, trying to push people on to train tracks, kidnapping a 7 year old girl and such, who then goes and threatens a train car full of people, shouting that he’s going to kill someone. Yet, when a soldier in that crowd tackles and pacifies him, that he becomes the real victim and the soldier now faces jail time for daring to stop him…
You aren’t traumatized and blindly lashing out at society, regardless of how much it hurts everyone around you, you aren’t a real person to these people.
Or it could just be they have an unhealthy fetish for badboys and are trying desperately to virtue signal is a forlorn hope to avoid being a victim of the rapid woke mob they are in themselves.
