Nah, it’s mostly with Applejack. I was pretty sure the light-hearted, tongue-and-cheek nature of this whole thing was abundantly clear but people appear to think I really don’t like AJ. Also nobody, not a single person across multiple platforms, has commented on what Gabby is saying.
 
I know the internet has no sense of humor but wow the collective reaction to this shitpost has been so genuine I believe most people totally missed the joke. Which ironically, is transforming it into a new joke for me to enjoy.
 
Addendum: For example I love Granny Smith. Not Neutral about her at all, I literally just wanted to draw her doing that in the center. haha

Fun fact: out of the 200 something episodes, that’s the only one I haven’t seen even once. Somehow I skipped it, then saw him in a later episode. He annoyed me so much I decided never to go watch the episode in which he appeared.

She literally looks like that on the cover of the book in Read it and Weep. But yes, Daring being a character was better than Daring being autobiographical.

My thoughts: Gabby is underrated? Maybe now, but she was everywhere when she debuted and she was insufferable, I’d classify her as being highly overrated still, she’s a cheery griffon, basically she’s an old ask blog oc that somehow became canon.
 
I agree on Daring Do, it’s like they forgot she only looked like Rainbow Dash because Dash was projecting herself into the story and I liked her better when she was fiction within fiction. Somehow her being made real made her less enjoyable.
 
Sombra is overhated? I always persevered people just being neutral on him.
 
I don’t know what to say about AJ, on the one hand she has the least amount of fanart out of the Mane Six, on the other hand, those who love her really love her. It’s like she’s reached this strange equilibrium where she is both under and over represented at the same time.
