Yes and no. She’s a bit of a nerd, and she’s from a split off timeline where Chryssie didn’t lose the throne, but at the same time a handful of buggos got skittle-ified so that other bugs like Ocellus are still around.
 
She doesn’t live at the Hive, hence having access to things like books and the Vespa. The current thing I’m going with is that she’s a delegate sent out by Chryssie to live as herself within Pony culture, as part of some form of changeling-pony nation relations type deal to show off to the ponies that buggos aren’t as evil as they seem.

So does she have a backstory or anything?
