I think Acres should come back, but that’s just my opinion. He made a human error and owned up to it and undid it. This whole thing was blown out of proportion.
You know who doesn’t own up to their mistakes? Derpibooru mods. They’ll just double down and then call you a retard. And quite frankly this whole situation feels like a giant setup. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Frowning had a hand in it. That cuck is so petty and pathetic.

Reading through the stuff from 12 days ago about Shinodage image with Acres’s OC, honestly i would simply say tough shit mate. There is plenty of art of OCs used without permission for a variety of reasons and personally i think none of it should be removed based on fee-fees.
Though i agree that the route through the artist seems valid.
EDIT: I guess to add to that, of course the people running the site can ultimately do what they will. But just like with Derpibooru, if you run a place on a specific set of rules that people get used to and then suddenly change them or make exceptions etc… you have to expect that users will complain.
And in no way i saying this is anything like Derpibooru 2.0… BUT it can turn into it which would be very sad.

And now the site is worse off because of it. We’re now down 2 mods and shit has gotten real slow. I’ve had a report open for 5 days now with no response. The moderation was never this slow before. I don’t know 2k, but I liked Acres. But apparently it’s one strike and you’re cancelled now.

They both need to come back. If they don’t then this obviously coordinated hit job was a success. And that pisses me off more than any stupid drama over an OC and a simple human misstep.

Some assholes on /mlp/ have been trying really hard to restart the discussion against this site, just after some anons were remembering the dirty tactics used by derpibooru’s staff against the users they had labeled as “undesirables”.
In fact, there’s a guy who’s playing minimod and trying to decide on his own what can be discussed (Ponybooru hate) and what cannot (Any kind of critics against Derpibooru.)

Otherwise I know I’d probably be pretty good for the job. I check in here pretty often when I’m working on my art. I usually think shit through before acting.

I should be a bit more confident in how fair I would be too. I’ve run my Discord so long and bans are pretty rare on there. There’s people in there who’ve pissed me the fuck off so many times who are still in there because I don’t just jump the gun and start slapping out every retard I see.
I guess it really does boil down to how time consuming it might be.

Back to the /mlp/ spammers, they also often touch topics that derpibooru’s staffers often obsess about, like politics, right wing blanket statements, Patachu drama and such, without forgetting their love for using certain words (like “election tourist”) to try to disacredit whoever is calling them out.
Honestly, I don’t understand how some people can obsess and feel so desperate about trying to one up everyone and be regarded as some kind of internet famous person who gets to decide everything for everyone else. Yeah, I know about autism and such, but there’s a limit about how much about a person’s fucked up behavior can be blamed on his autism before you start to guess what kind of crappy life they must have to try to compensate that badly for it.

Just so everyone is clear: the defining trait of being on the autism spectrum is an inability to instinctively infer non-verbal social ques from other people. While it is true that levels of severity differs for those on the varying degrees on the spectrum and the more severe a case the more likely they are to come off as rude or abrasive, it is important to remember that it is not out of malice, but rather a lack of instinctual understanding of when certain lines may be crossed.
Autism is not an excuse to behave like a complete asshole, and to infer otherwise is an insult to the millions of people on the spectrum who are perfectly capable of etiquette and manners, and desire to be friendly and welcoming to others.
Autism is not an excuse to reject any attempt to correct your behaviour and to infer otherwise is an insult to the millions of people on the spectrum who make an active effort to use logical inference and observation to fill the gaps left by their lack of social instinct, making a concerted effort to at least try to avoid causing unintended abrasiveness and offence.
Autism is not a lack of empathy for others, that is what we call psychopathy. To infer otherwise is a grievous fucking insult to literally everyone on the spectrum who does in fact, value the emotional states of those around them and care deeply for their loved ones, regardless of whether or not they are good at showing it in a traditional sense.
So to address your point: There is no limit, because the existence of a limit would imply that autism is an excuse for TSP’s behavior by any metric or measure. It implies that to some degree-however miniscule you arbitrarily chose to draw that line-his actions can be pardoned due to him just not knowing any better.
TSP is not an autist, he’s an asshole.
Actually he’s both, but the former is no excuse whatsoever for the latter. Please don’t insult good-natured autists by acting like they can’t help themselves then be just like TSP, they’re actively making an effort to not annoy you and comparing them to this oxygen thief is insulting.

It’s not that they can’t learn right and wrong, it is that they may have difficulty trying figure it out on their own. It’s their choice if someone tries to teach them the difference between right and wrong and they choose to ignore it.
