I would like to hear what’s the difficulty here unless you’re one of the 3% of hotmail users the site has. If you’re a hotmail user, I’m sorry to say but this will happen in the future on almost every small site you use. That’s the fact of life.

If you’re not a hotmail user, what difficulty are you having?

I’m doing my best here, but unfortunately there’s not a lot I can do in this situation.

Hoping that everything gets solved regarding microsoft tomorrow night, so those in this boat can finally get back in their stuff. Otherwise I’ll have to setup the alternate mailbox.

I’m still waiting on mine.

Ive been trying since the 14th and haven’t gotten anything to my gmail.

Anyone else getting 500 errors, or is it just on my end?

Actually i dont even know whats going on right now. I haven’t checked my account I’m a few weeks and now it wont let me log in. i have gmail and I’ve tried sending the emails a few times but it wont work.

I also can’t get it to send the unlock instructions to my gmail account. And I tried again and the ‘verify your not a robot’ thing isn’t working properly.

Are you trying to reset your password, or unlock your account? Because those are two separate options and you only need to do the first. You won’t get an email if you try to unlock an account that isn’t locked to begin with.

Hello, i am using a hotmail for my log in, and i can’t log in. Is something wrong, can i still use hotmail, if so what should i do?

You need to reset your password due to the issues that happened. Simply go to the login page and choose the option that you forgot your password/to reset your password. Enter the email used and wait for the email for you to reset it. It might take a while to send so be patient and also pay attention to your spam folder in your email.

If you have issues getting the email after about a day, then just message Zizzy about other options. From other people in this forum, hotmail does seem to work though so you should be fine.

I think you can as long as it is usable within the password length and other requirements. Just check when you get to the page to reset it…. it will give you the details of password requirements there.

Better to change it, given it may be compromised. When asked to change a password it is best practice to actually change it.

I got my old account back now😃
