Derpi/Ponybooru ?

Is there any like difference between those two atm ooor… ? I’m still quite confoozd guys.

They’re not affiliated in any way, but they’re using the same software (Philomena). The main difference is in philosphy of the administration - take a look at the rules: ponybooru allows any image which isn’t illegal in the US or under a DNP, while derpi is much more restrictive (and is also hosted in the EU which means more things fall under “illegal”).

Oh, okey thanks. I was quite wondering what’s the main difference between those. Because I’m mostly just having feel that it has quite old times feeling due some old pics etc are being reposted etc. It’s quite nice tho.

Yeah, given that it just launched a few hours ago there’s a lot of content that needs to be migrated. I think a full import of derpibooru’s content may or may not be planned.

Ponybooru had better site moderation than Derpibooru during 2020-2022, but now they are both bad. In my opinion.

Derpibooru also removes any images deemed paywalled even after it’s creator nukes their account and that it’s completely unavailable except for their customers that held it. How they know it’s one is a big mystery. Because those signs are not immediately red flags I believe
