What kind of businesses are these?

There are some businesses that are normally open all year except for a few specific holidays.

Mainly retailers such as Best Buy, JC Penney and Lowe’s. I find it kind of odd they’re choosing to announce Easter closings on the news when they don’t normally announce any other holiday closings. Even Christmas closings are relatively quiet.

On a side note, Easter sucks when compared to Christmas.

I suppose they do it because their customers keep asking if they will be open or closed during the holidays.
In my country is normal to see all business closing during Easter and the cities basically going into a religious hiatus that lasts until Monday.

Norton has become a memory hog for some reason.

I was going to play an April Fools’ day prank on my employer by showing up late on a day I wasn’t even scheduled to work wearing the uniform of a different company, but they pre-emptively counter-pranked me by dumping an unscheduled 9 hour shift on me with only a few hours’ notice.

Analogic TV has officially been discontinued in my country and now all CRT TVs became obsolete.
Including the small Radio-TV we have at my workplace to kill time during idle hours, argh.

That happened in the US back in 2009.
They sold little converter boxes so the older TVs could still be used. Are they not doing that where you live?

Scalpers are charging an arm and a leg for digital converters, so we are waiting until the initial craze calms down a bit.

I just made 55 metadata changes to this site by going through and removing contradictory tags, like ‘Solo’ on images featuring groups of characters, or ‘Males Only’ and ‘Females Only’ on the same image.

I’m glad I’ve discovered a way to farm metadata changes for the ‘Bookhorse’ badge, but I can’t help but facepalm at how so many people keep putting ‘Solo’ when the entire Mane Six are present and see nothing wrong with it. Why do people do this?

There’s an extension called CustomTube that changes the layout of youtube to any of 20 different previous configurations. I had to get it 22 days ago. It works almost perfectly with a few tweaks.
