The video game industry as been a cesspool of bad quality and terrible decisions since the very beginning of the 2020’s; the biggest companies and developers started to earn tons of money due to the COVID-19 pandemic with less effort, given the fact everybody were locked in their homes with the quarantine protocols, and one of the easiest ways to kill the time is playing games, so most of the people were spending their savings in games and consoles.

Nevertheless, the idiots forgot nothing lasts forever, and fortunately, the COVID-19 was part of those things; too bad for them tho, ’cause they thought their increasing monetary gains would be everlasting. However, as soon as things went back to normal, and people started to spent their money and time in work and other human priorities, the bubble exploded, and everything started to come down because, as I said, nothing lasts forever, what a fucking surprise!
Since then, and in a poorly attempt to recover that profit stream, the biggest video game companies have been taking a series of terrible decisions. Releasing incomplete and mediocre games is only the tip of the iceberg; please, don’t force me to talk about that time when huge companies unironically believed the NFTs were the future of the industry.
