I my case an image just failed to process properly on every level and is permanently stuck at “optimizing the filesize” with a non-thumbnail (rather than a missing thumbnail message) and a broken image when you open it. I’ve just been waiting for the mass upload & processing period to end before I reported it.

I have noticed some images not get processed at all and just have a broken thumbnail, such as >>2284259. May I ask how this happenes?

yes. you can either report the image for deletion and reupload the correct image, or when marking the image as a duplicate, indicate the reason why you are wanting it merged.

If I accidentally upload an image without a signature, am I able to request it to be merged with a version with the signature?

MASSIVE jump in the number of processed images. So that when I open up the site in my browser, the first page is NOT filled with WEBMs lol

Don’t get too excited. There’s still a whole bunch of images needing to be uploaded.

As part of the mass upload squad, that’s a good idea.

Generally i will hold off on posting new content here as visibility will be nigh zero. Best option from my point of view is to wait until processing has caught up.

I’d honestly recommending hiding the webm tag in whatever filter you’re using unless you specifically want to search out webms right now. It’s not so much that they’re destroying the site as it is that they process much faster, so they will be almost exclusively what you see on the front page otherwise.  
I just made a copy of my filter with webms added to it and swap between them.

Man the site’s really being destroyed by all the webm uploads right now ain’t it?

That issue was entirely my fault. I wish i was joking. I messed up a configuration about 3 weeks ago, it was a ticking time bomb since then.
 
I was sleeping much of the problem, but I fixed it a couple hours after I woke up and figured out the problem. It’s one of those things that after you mess it up and fix it, you’ll remember not to do that again.
 
Really sorry about that. CW is still working on some of the new server things while I handle small fires here and there.
 
I needed to get away from the site for a bit just so I could focus more on achieving other IRL things that needed completed.
