He’s pretty big at around 28 feet tall. It’s completely fine if you need to shrink him to fit into the collab, though.

Thanks for the exception this time. I think I’ll go back to using my dragon/pony hybrid oc, Dragonfire, for all of the collabs in the future. He fits way more and his smaller size will be easier to work with.

Hmm… scale wise is he just like a large dragon, alicorn size, or closer to a normal pony? Depending on how big he is I might have to be a bit creative in his placement without covering up other characters/scenery too much.

Also given that he doesn’t quite fit with the whole specifically MLP OC idea, this will kinda be an exception I’m making for ya on this. Don’t worry about that now, but for next year’s collab you might want to consider that.

Having the background early will definitely help! Though I dunno what we’ll do about the organization part, since this year was delayed so hard due to differences in people’s creative direction and how they figure it should be organized. It’ll be dependant on everyone not arguing next time around. We live and learn I suppose!

If you get it in within a couple of days you should be fine. I’m the one putting it all together so just let me know and I will try to save some space for ya in the scene.

This goes for everyone else here too that didn’t see my discord post about it. You have a couple of days to get in a submission before I consider it final. If you might run a bit over that time just let me know soon so I can save some space for you. There should be plenty of flying space for now if you have a pegasus/flying character and ground space should be fine as well. Comment/message me here or on discord as soon as possible if you need a bit of extra time or for anything else.

I’ve been active in the Discord server. Forgot to post here, is all. Life stuff got in the way of me being a bigger part of helping draw people’s OCs, but I did get my submission in!

I work retail so it’s been a bit hectic for me recently to do much of anything. I was also waiting until after the new year to really start on it anyway, so in my free time I will get around to putting this together.

As long as everyone’s submissions are properly tagged, I should be able to get it started sometime tomorrow at the earliest. No eta on when it might be done… but it will eventually be done for sure.

I don’t know if anything has even happened, I haven’t heard from either runner2 or DuskenDraws since I posted the background

End of the month was the rough idea… but a bit after that should be fine as well as I will still have to compile everything together and that probably won’t be a quick thing.

I had planned to give people all of December to prepare but like I said, artist was slower with the background then I’d hoped.

No real upper limit (outside of absurd numbers I suppose) on how many characters you can submit. Either via a group image or individuals. Be mindful that group images might be harder to place unless they are rather tightly grouped.

Safe only. OCs only. Community OCs, personal OCs, or OCs you get permission to draw are all fine.

Poses should be fairly standard with winter themed accessories if you want to have a character wear anything. Flying poses should be plenty available as well. Accessories themed after official characters are fine (plush figures/dolls, pictures on shirts, badges, buttons, etc.) while the official characters themselves aren’t.

Feel free to ask if you have anything specific you want answered. Otherwise most standard collab rules should apply overall. I usually check in at least a couple of times a day to look for updates. It’s quite late for me right now so I was about to head to bed though so I will answer what I can when I see it.

Due to scheduling conflicts, and my departure then sudden rejoining from the volunteer team, getting a background together took a lot longer then I’d hoped…but we’ve got one now so, yay!

We’re ready to begin, runner2 can run you through submission rules, but they’re pretty standard from last year, just with a higher poni count allowed.

Theme is a Winter/Christmas/Hearthswarming theme given the time of year, so if you want to have your ponies wear anything probably best to show up dressed for the cold <X3
