Much like Twilight, I initially thought this sequence would go much differently, with Twilight using her spells to make a laughingstock of this otherwise climactic sequence. So let this be a public service announcement: Regularly review your character sheets.

In other news, the fourth session of Fallout is Dragons up. It has a parody of So Many Wonders, a city of gold, and a boss fight against a giant dragon in it, so there’s that.

Fluttershy: So… <roll> Oh! That works, right?
Applejack: <roll> Yeah, we’re good.
PM: Okay, that’s Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie across! That just leaves Twilight and Spike!
Twilight Sparkle: Can I use Dimension Door to teleport Spike across?
PM: Sure! That sounds like an awesome way to travel!
Twilight Sparkle: And for me, I’ll use… Wait. <rustle> Uh-oh. Uh-oh!
PM: What?
Twilight Sparkle: Hover. Daily power. “…cannot use this power to cross a chasm or pit.” Drat! How could I have missed that??
PM: Lemme see. …WOW, that’s a wall of text.
Applejack: Well, the Athletics DC’s not all that hard…
Twilight Sparkle: But unlike you, the hydra is right behind me!
Applejack: …Yeah, we’re in trouble.
