I’m nearly a month behind, but I do hope everyone’s 2022 is off to a good start. The last 3 months weren’t exactly good for me, which started with my grandmother passing away in late October. I went on hiatus after my last pic to help my family focus on her funeral that took place a couple of weeks later. That alone should have put me off of art for maybe 2-3 weeks. If only that were true. No sooner did the holiday season start at my irl job…well, let’s just say it gives many ‘bruh’ & ‘WTF’ moments that completely wrecked me (and also for the first time in my life taken away my Christmas-themed spirit throughout December).
 
The holidays passed but my drive to do drawings was still empty. At least, until a certain video game I had reminded me that the 2022 Chinese New Year would start soon with the Year of the Tiger. That was the motivation I found to do a drawing, and since I like to portray my MLP Griffon OC Gareth as a tiger-like griffon. I planned to give Gar a few more stripes and alter a couple of his existing ones now that I feel a bit more comfortable with the amount he currently has. I also decided to do away with the ‘feathery’ floof I tried to do on his head earlier and just give him a fur-like floof. That’s all for now, and here’s hope that my art drive will continue to flow on through without much delay.
