Admittedly I had a whole bunch of ideas planned for the climax, even forgoing the whole treehumping and Paper Mario battling in favour of the tree house becoming some giant lava lamp flying saucer thing that Twilight (sprouting wings) Pinkie Pie (sprouting balloons), and Fluttershy go to fight in the sky. I was hoping to throw in some references to Gradius/Parodius not as a joke, but as both a tribute and to see if any viewers were familiar with the series to spot them.
