Emerald asks if that means she can’t even use telekinesis.
 
“Nope, no magic.” The Joyride illusion says with a nod.
 
Emerald then strides over to the door and tries to open it, but to no avail.
 
“Sorry. You aren’t getting out that way without the key, and since I’m deckside that ain’t happening anytime soon.”
 
Emerald pretends to look resigned, and goes over and gives the unicorn a hug. He asks that she be careful, and asks when the raid begins. As he does so, he motions to Ruby to try the door.
 
“Thanks lil’ perv, but you know I can’t feel the hug right? Anyway, we should see the ship soon, but it’ll still be a good half an hour probably until we actually get close enough to fire on it.”
 
As Joyride talks, Ruby tries the doorknob and looks through the keyhole. She then gives a thumbs up and motions for Emerald to keep talking. After that the filly pulls out some improvised tools from her shirt, and leans over the lock.
