I was never TOO into the mlp fandom bc i didn’t really have the internet as a kid, but i was OBSESSED with the show and the movies in my own time. I remember when i was super little, a girl I sat next to in math class in 7th or 8th grade (if you’re reading this YES it was you bethany AAHAH) used to draw ponies and she was REALLY good at it and i really wanted to get good at it too dslfjdlfj so i literlly just like. copied off her stuff and she taught me how to do pony bases LOL I used to draw a bit, but nearly as much as after that. This whole show was my first ever expirence with fancontent like art and fics and ships and it really was the base ground for getting me into stuff like that
