Something I thought of earlier in the month because Valentine’s Day was on my mind… and of course, I did something for Valentine’s Day for FlashShimmer, a ship that has become one of my favorite OTPs. I’ve drawn the most fan art for tihs ship than any of my other ships in terms of Equestria Girls fan art so it goes without saying that there’s something about FlashShimmer that is really special to me.
 
Anyway, if you’ve read Changed, you’ll know that Spike doesn’t necessarily like Flash but I feel like after Flash and Sunset got back together and Flash started hanging out with them as a part of the group, he and Spike started to develop a close bond, especially since they are the only guys in their “group”. So, I like the idea of Flash and Spike teaming up to do things, in this case Spike teams up with Flash to do something sweet (and cheesy lol) for Sunset in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
 
Since Spike is human in my way of viewing Equestria Girls, the concept of Spike and Flash being a brotp sounds perfect to me. Also, adding in Sweetie Belle was honestly a last minute thing because I figured I might as well make a nod towards SpikeBelle in this drawing too because I am going to work on drawing EqG fan art for the other MLP ships I support.
