Ever since I wrote my little drabble of Flash Sentry and Sunset Shimmer (which you can read here if interested: fav.me/d8tgosi ) being married and finding out they’re going to have a son, I’ve been itching to draw a family pic of them. Coming up with a design for their son was tricky but this seems okay for now. I always find it cute to draw scenarios like this. Flash bonding with his son and Sunset Shimmer thinking it is super touching. I’ve attempted to draw Flash and Sunset older before but I wanted to improve upon it a bit and this time, Sunset has shorter hair. I figured after she had Solar Wind (haven’t made the final decision on a name for their son yet), she decided it was time for a change in hair style?
 
I still have a really hard time aging characters but I think I’m improving little by little. And honestly, I’m really proud of the way Flash and Sunset turned out older this time around.
