[SEASON 9 SPOILER ALERT!!!]

It’s already that late (German time: 11 pm) and I’m still sitting here uploading this actual shit. I couldn’t watch the recent MLP episode, because I wanted to watch the film “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”, so let me introduce.
 
I decided to draw a general shot of the Legion of Doom from the MLP Season 9 premiere, because I really liked them (especially Cozy Glow, my favorite villain) making a bond together and it was so entertaining to see all the villains together. Grogar might be an interesting character. Though, the premiere wasn’t very spectacular in my opinion (just to say, Part 2 was pretty okay, but I’ve seen better), it was still very fun to watch. I wanted to draw out a more interesting scene from the show and lmao, I picked out that, where Sombra tells the others, he can take over Equestria on his own and doesn’t need the other’s help.
 
Okay, this artwork really took me a lot of time and energy to finish, though the background still isn’t really done, but I didn’t finish that, because I think, it still looks awesome this way, and you won’t believe me, how shitty it looked, when it was still a work in progress, so not very motivating. I still kept on doing, because it was the second, maybe the THIRD time I’m drawing Chrysalis and the previous second time, I dumped those artworks, because they looked like crap while drawing, but this time, I really managed to finish it. Besides, Cozy Glow is in here, what could be any better?
 
The best part for me wasn’t the coloring (it was pretty exhausting and time intensive, probably I should change to digital art, when I had to color such huge patches, and I first failed Cozy’s skin tone, lmfao), it was actually the sketching and the inking, which looked very fun for me while doing. I wanted to overcome my annoying same face/body syndrome (since I draw a lot of pony stuff and MLP generally has same face and body syndrome), so I decided to give every villain a different body type instead of the usual EQG body type. For example, I made Chrysalis’ silhouette more pointy and sharp than my other characters and the practically only cute thing about her are her oversized eyes. Tirek was practically the same as in the canon, because I thought, they did him very well. I gave Grogar a triangle shaped back, which I hated (or at least liked the least) while sketching, but now I find it looks pretty okay. Cozy Glow might have the normal pony body shape, since she’s only a filly. However, my personal favorite and most succeeded character in here is Sombra. I made his face a bit pointier, since the circle shaped face didn’t really suite him.
 
So I think, that’s all to tell you, perhaps a little too much, but idc. ^^ I gotta sleep now (as said, in german time, it’s almost midnight!). I hope you like this artwork.
