Description

If there’s one thing out of all the Alicorn Drama that pisses me off, it’s when intellectually dishonest people try to claim that Hasbro is attemtping to pidgeonhole little girls into wanting to be Princesses.

While “Princess” may only be a ceremonial role in the real world, within the context of the show, the Princesses have not only great power, but also very large responsibility.

We have been shown Celestia’s leadership, wisdom, and diplomatic abilities from time to time when she has appeared on screen. And their heroism.

The modern day equivalent would be our current political system.

Twilight was chosen by Celestia as her personal pupil due to her potential. And was made to work hard and prove she was worthy of Celestia’s guidance.

I think that’s a great lesson for both boys and girls. That if you put in the effort and study and work as hard as you can, you can aspire to great things. Even something like Prime Minister of Canada, or President of the United States.

Explain to me how that’s a bad thing?
