One night Techo was spending sometime looking over Canterlot from his balcony of his quarters that was on the top floor on one of the castle’s towers. While admiring the site, a dark, blurry figure sped fast him at close range. As he was too focused on the city sites below, he couldn’t make out what it was. He turned his head to the direction the blurry figure went only for the blurry figure speed back past him. Getting irritated, he turned his head back the other direction, towards where the blurry figure flew too. The blurry figure then flew past him again from behind as it began to orbit his tower, faster and faster with each orbit.
 
Finally getting fed up with the speeding blurry figure, the robotic alicorn powered up his horn in an attempt to catch the blur with his magic but before he mustered enough magical energy, the blurry figure collided with him, lifting him up high. Tech was caught completely off guard by the impact. As he got his bearings, he noticed what had collided with him; the queen of the changelings, Chrysalis. The Changeling flew Techno around the top of the tower several times before flying him up to the top flagpole of the tower, hooking the alicorn’s briefs over the top of it, leaving him in a hanging wedgie. The robot alicorn could not process was exactly happened as his circuits began to short-circuit, causing smoke to start coming out of his right ear. Chrysalis continued to orbit around Techno as he was stuck atop the tower, laughing at the poor robotic alicorn.
