I mean, compared to everything else they’ve got such TINY heads! Nearly no room for expression and certainly not cute. In order to even get any kind of expressions off most of them half of the body has to be off-panel.
 
The worst thing about humans is that there’s absolutely no room for artistic license. If they’re proportions are shortened it’s “OMGUNDERAGE” and if you try to simplify it at all it’ll probably be mocked for not having 4000% perfect anatomy, especially with more explicit works. So it’s not like I could do humanizations with proportions and such similar to an upright pony…
