Jupiter Wave is a punk rock and synth rock fanatic. She’s been quickly improving her talents as guitarist with her three new friends who all happened to enjoy music as much as her. Together they formed a band called Social Upsurge, in the spirit of making music to show everyone that ponies of all groups and classes have have a lot more in common than they may think.
 
She is a Manehatten girl and attends high school there, final year. It was her previous year where she came out as trans after years of depression and unsureness of her identity. Since then (though her parents still dislike her decision and chalk it up to attention-seeking) she has mostly come out of her depression and, especially after meeting her new friends, is in much better place mentally than before. She still struggles occasionally, but after two years of therapy she is getting know who she really is and how to finally be happy.
