Ever wonder what happened to Cadence when the Nightmares took over? She became the leader of the rebellion that vowed to take them out.
 
Princess Cadence has experienced many a tragedy since Midnight came to power, not only losing a loved sister-in-law, but also her aunts. Not only that, she had to watch as her beloved husband, Shining Armor became another crystal trophy for the Nightmare’s garden.
 
She’s battled many times with Midnight, losing her eye and her ability to fly, which as a former pegasus depressed her the most. She still fights on to this day to find a way to reverse the curse her former fellow rulers are under, but finds it harder and harder to want to help them the more they find ways to hurt those she loves.
 
She still has the support of her daughter, Flurry Heart and all those who have vowed to be at her side to vanquish the Nightmares.
