Thanks to Maleficent’s spell. Twilight has pricked her hoof on a spindle on a spinning wheel and fallen into the sleeping beauty curse. Spike, Cadence, and Shining Armor put Twilight into her bed back in the castle of friendship and felt so horrible and sad for loosing Twilight. Celestia and Luna had to put everypony, including Flurry Heart, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie, the Crusaders, Discord, and all of the others in Ponyville, the Crystal Empire, and Canterlot into sleep until Twilight awakens. Cadance realised that since she reformed Sunset Shimmer and helped her understand friendship and defeat the Sirens back in Canterlot High, she thought she might be the only one to break the spell. They may not know that this would work, but Sunset and her friends from Canterlot High might be their only hope. Unknown to them, Diablo, Maleficent’s raven, was spying to them and went to warn Maleficent.
