Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer both guessed John F. Kennedy as the answer to the second tiebreaker question during the Winner’s Defense bout. However, the answer that they both guessed was incorrect, resulting in both of these contestants being eliminated from the Million Second Quiz and leaving without any money. The leaderboard before the game was this:
- Flash Sentry $420,000
- Vinyl Scratch $350,000
- Lyra Heartsrings $290,000
- Twilight Sparkle $240,000
As a result of both Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer being eliminated from the game, Big Macintosh was brought back to replace the fourth seed on the leaderboard. He had $235,000 in total winnings and never lost a Winner’s Defense bout.
