It’s that time of the year once more, time to draw me some Springtime Pegasi. With them birb horses acting all birdbrained due to spring induced hormones and instincts.

Sadly breaking out of my tradition of only using canon characters for these, with this one. Just couldn’t find the motivation for that this time around, so have some OC’s instead.
Gryphons probably feel the spring too, and they too wish to have the best spots for picking up chicks. With gryphons visiting Equestria more birdbaths can be dangerous things to go too near during spring. You try tell a full grown gryphon to get the heck out of your garden. As politely as you want…

OC’s chosen here is MisterMech’s pegasus colt Sugar Glacing and gryphon Magnus.
Magnus is actually in good control over himself during spring. But happen to have adopted a filly as his daughter and he does NOT like the thought of all those colts on her age putting claim on the birdbaths in the neighborhood. Especially those she’ll pass on her way to school. Sure she is a unicorn and not even a pegasus and probably won’t be impressed… But Magnus is NOT taking any chances. Even if it means he has to put claim on all of the birdbaths in the neighborhood just to keep those pesky colts away from his little filly!

Not too keen on how Magnus’ anatomy turned out although I guess it’s not all too bad. Sugar turned out nicely though, all terrified and floofed up :giggle:
