This is a chapter art for the story of Off The Mark by Goldfur, this took more time that I liked to admit mostly because I fell back into by bad habit of going into details right off the bat. While I am happy that I managed to do such a detailed characters and background in an attempt of preproduction how does the throne room. I did enjoy designing the throne and decoration despite complexity and that most of it would disappear behind the characters, loved working on the flowers. While I couldn’t show the thrown room in all this spender and glory because the focus was meant to be on the Twilight and the Great and Powerful Princess Trixie along with Fancy Pants so I had to crop the image on to those three. Trixie went rather well in, trying to colors the art lines before merging all the myriad of layers, I did like giving here a star themed regalia. Twilight’s was strait forward to do, despite the awkward angle, the dress was a little to simple for my taste, but again angle issues. Being the last one done and having the process down-patten at that point it was simple to do the render on him, still was fun to do through. the lighting was already planned from the start, so I didn’t had to adjust the added form shadows that much toward the end.
