Bad End AU- Prologue: Defeated.
Yayyyy the next one! Let’s gooo C: , jeez i get a little bit burned out writing, not because it’s specially good but because writing is SO hard, i love to draw but writing the story is ughhh. Anyway, i hope you all enjoy it C:

Note: I retconned a bit how Twilight’s got the scar on her face, i said a while ago here that she had it from a fire spell that went wrong. Since i’m now going with the “no magic for the mane 6 + the princesses” route, it has now been given to her by a ray of magic caused by the villains in the fight.

Twilight was exhausted.

She was sure one of her legs was broken and one of her wings, if not both, were injured, the right side of her face hurt since a ray of magic had struck her, she felt so weak. The alicorn didn’t even knew for how long she had been fighting the three looming figures that were approaching her, she had tried her best to counterattack but not even with the additional magic of the princesses she could face them.

It had started when Twilight tried to raise the sun that morning, she had found it odd when the moon wouldn’t go down but she figured it would be due to her not knowing how to control the amount of magic given to her, but she turned pale when no matter how hard she tried the moon stayed in place, defiant. She had a bad feeling about it.

She flew as fast as she could to Canterlot Castle, the princesses had advised not to do it in fear that Tirek would know of her existence, but she couldn’t shake away her uneasiness. When she reached it she couldn’t find a trace of Celestia, Shining or Cadance, instead the Castle was covered in a dark ambience, and the purple alicorn felt her heart racing when she caught sight of turquoise eyes in the darkness, she felt the same fear she had when she saw them all that time ago, but this time they didn’t had a trace of sadness or sorrow they had then, only vengeance and malice. Twilight was frozen with shock as she saw Nightmare Moon, it couldn’t be, Luna would never let this happen again…not now.

She was so deep in denial of what her purple eyes were seeing; she hadn’t noticed when the other two figures hidden in the darkness had pounced ferociously at her, hungry for the magic that had been bestowed to her.

Twilight was ready to take another blow, when Discord with a snap of his fingers made appear 5 bubbles containing…her friends. Her eyes widened and her heart started to race with fear of the doing something to them. Tirek, the root of all this disaster, offered her a deal in behalf of him and the other villains, give him all the alicorn magic in exchange of her friends. The ponies started to shout at her, that they weren’t worth it that she didn’t need to do it, but Twilight would never forgive herself if something hurt them or worse.

She agreed.

As she felt the magic being drained from her, the villains with their crazy eyes and malicious smiles, gloating in their victory, she saw Discord and Luna-or Nightmare Moon, how could they do this?

After all they had progressed together?

After they offered them their friendship?

It was just a façade ?

Everything she and her friends represented, the magic of friendship…it was for nothing.

Friendship was defeated.
