Omg, guys! Meet Luna and Rarity’s daughter!! “Aurora Trivia Radiant Moon”!!!!

She’s a revamped version of Luna’s daughter that she had with her former lover, Vlad Dracula Tepes II (a little more about him here: https://www.deviantart.com/theartfox2468/art/Star-AU-The-Forgotten-Six-Designs-Briefs-921622963). Instead of Aurora being their baby, she’s now the love-child of Rarity and Luna. Btw, Luna still had a son with Vlad named Midnight before he passed, though. (I need to talk more about Vlad and Midnight, lol 💀).

Anyway, back to Aurora. Initially, I designed her to be born blind, so that also applies here as well. As far as her character, I’m still working on that. Like her brother Midnight, I’ve always imagined Luna’s children being mysterious and hard to come by. But it could also be because I have never fleshed them out as characters, lol 😅. Judging by the goddess I named her after “Trivia, “Trivia”, I do intend for her to exhibit similar powers, traits, and occupations as her, like witchcraft/magic and mysteriousness Apparently, the goddess Trivia is also associated or surrounded by death, like lurking in or near graveyards and being seen at crossroads, which were known to be sites of evil acts, like murder or robbery. I’m unsure how I would interpret the goddess Trivia’s characteristics to Aurora. Maybe she could be an omen or a harbinger of death. A reaper. Or someone that can mysteriously connect with the dead or “see” dead people. Perhaps her blind eyes are special and can only see ghosts and phantoms, but not the real world. I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♀️. Perhaps you guys can help me with her character! Additionally, y’all can even help with any design ideas because I’m not sure if I’m satisfied with her design yet! ^^

Now, going a little in-depth with Luna and Rarity’s relationship, I can imagine that they were both bonded by their loneliness and need for love. Like for Luna, after her former husband’s death, she was left alone with Midnight. But alas, Midnight soon grew old too and had to leave and rule Hollow Equestria, like his father (yeah, Midnight is older than y’all think 💀. He was born way before Luna became Nightmare Moon. Also, Hollow Equestria, in my AU, is like an Underworld, where most of the Equestrian monsters and species originate from, like bat ponies such as Vlad and Changelings. Places like the Everfree Forest have caves that are gates to Hollow Equestria).

As we know, Luna’s loneliness, grief, and longing for love and attention had eventually turned her into Nightmare Moon. Even after her reformation, she was still left feeling lonely, though now grateful that she was surrounded by friends and family. Regardless, what she craved the most was intimacy. Someone to hold. Someone to kiss. And so did Rarity.

Of course, Rarity’s troubles weren’t as major as Luna’s, but Rarity is only a mortal, X]. At first, Rarity didn’t mind honing in on her fashion business in Canterlot. And like Luna, she was grateful to have loyal associates their like Coco Pommel and Sassy Saddles but had nights where she fancied cliché romance. Like having a nice luxurious evening dinner, cuddling on a sofa while watching soap operas and indulging ice cream and au d’oeuvres, serenading to one another, etc, etc. But she was left to do it all alone. Additionally, though she was happy and supportive of her friends, it seemed that they all had lovers except her.

Eventually, one fated night, Luna would find Rarity all alone at one of her favorite restaurants that she dreamed of going to with a partner. Luna stopped to accompany her. And we’ll, let’s say, they had connected that night. First, they’d grow a friendship and realize they had so much more in common than they had realized, despite one being a mortal and the other being immortal. Then, their bond would strengthen until they finally decided to take their relationships seriously. And then, *poof* a baby! :3 (Rarity was the baby bearer, btw ÓwÒ)! Now they’ve been happy and content ever since!
