Part of a large backlog of art from my Caballo Bay project.

Unicorn daughter of a shrewd salesmare and the town’s stern dockmaster, Yard Sail’s personality is the exact opposite of her parents. Cheery, childish, and with zero sense of self-preservation, she’s a topmare on the fishing vessel Daiyamondo. While her mannerisms differ from her kin, she’s still inherited quite a lot. She’s nightmarishly thrifty, and its rumored she’s legitimately never stepped hoof inside of a store. At the same time, her acrobatic prowess is something to behold. Having broken her horn at a young age, she’s had to adapt away from magic. She was always a naturally talented gymnast, but being forced to use her hooves and mouth for everything got her very far. As rare as unicorns are in CaBay, a unicorn with the skills to be trotting between a ship’s sails is truly unique, since the title of ‘topmare’ is almost exclusively taken by pegasi.
