Original Description:
This is a character design I’m still working on, but I haven’t made much progress in a long time so I’m just going to post my current wip and post a revised version of this later.
The idea is this erfpone is a golemancer, and walks around with 2 crates attached that serve as the two “bases” of a wargame she plays with herself. She used magic to animate the figurines on both side and larps as their general. The crates didn’t come out how I wanted, at first I tried to draw them closer to the appearance of an actual castle but it just looked stupid.
The primary reason I consider this design unfinished is that shes supposed to have an animate doll that plays the role of the enemy commander (so that she can actually play her game) but roleplays as a captured princess which the casus belli of the game is to rescue.
Theres like, lore about it, in that her gimmick of having a bunch of animate figurines can literally automate undermining Poison Seeds repetative evil plan, forcing her to engage in her last resort… “Thinking”. Her plan was just to teleport in, curse the erfpones animate doll to secretly undermine her when she tries to do that, and leave.
This accidentally creates a significantly more competent opponent then Poison Seeds is, since the doll was already made be able to strategize against her, and was already somewhat duplicious since she played the opponent but roleplayed a damsel. This erfpone hasnt noticed, because the doll was always supposed to play against her and from her perspective one day it just suddenly got smarter.
the reason this design is unfinished is because I haven’t designed an animate doll design I think is complimentary enough to her.
The wip name I think I might use for her is “Mae Baskets”, like the holiday, but also because it gives me the opportunity to call the larper a basketcase
