Encouraged by the help of their friends, Spike and Smolder went on their first date.They went to dragon land and found a nice and private place with a river of lava flowing nearby. So they sat. It was quiet for a long time until they realized that the other had to say something.
“This is a beautiful place in its own way.” Smolder said.
“You’re right. And you look beautiful in the lava light.” Spike said, blushing at the same time.
“Oh thank you.” Smolder said, blushing as well.
Then they sat in silence again for a moment and without realizing it their hands touched each other. They looked at each other with red cheeks and then turned their heads away.
“I…realized one…thing.” Spike said clinging.
“What?” Smolder asked in wonder.
“I’ve…always thought Rarity was the one for me. But when I saw you and you drove me when I got my wings, I realized it. You’re the one I want to be with.” Spike said.
Smolder couldn’t help but look at Spike in surprise.
“I… I don’t know what to say.” Smolder said.
“Let me prove it. Second date.” Spike said seriously.
“Alright. It’s settled.” Smolder said and after that they both looked at the passing lava.
