I’m never gonna finish the canvas of ideas I was working on so here’s the bits I at least finished. Bleh.
So, here’s Tri Color (Sanford) and Good Graces (Gracie). Tri Color’s the unicorn, Graces is the earth pony. They’re OCs from a thrice-rage quitted dnd campaign I was hosting. It was Sentinels of the Multiverse based, so superheroes and bootleg DC/Marvel concepts transformed into their own characters.
OG Backstory; Victorian Era nobles (though Gracie was a maid/gardener who was taken into the life by her husband, who became an earl), the couple lived comfortably until Gracie was murdered. Sanford had a mental break and, contracting the help of embodiments of emotion ““demons””, Sanford wields love, joy and sorrow alongside immortality. Now he’s become a powerful mage, and researches magic of all types whilst trying to find a way to revive his wife… who in the current day has already been revived, and is working alongside [former main villain here].
Ponified Backstory; former nobles of a bygone era, Tri Color was once talented in banking and handling money while his wife Good Graces was a perpetual blank flank, having no inclination to explore hobbies. They lived comfortably until an incident took Graces away from Tri Color, something he blamed the town he lived in and his neighbors for allowing to happen. Taking to dark magic, Tri Color found a way to manipulate the emotions in others as well as a spell of immortality; at the cost of being able to alter, control, steal, or bless powerful emotions of love, joy, sorrow and everything in-between the three, he is driven by an undying lust and inner turmoil over his deceased wife. He’s unaware, however, that across the tundra and buried in a town under the Crystal Empire, a collector of the strange has found a green alicorn with no cutie mark buried in the snow.
