So this will be the first of two parts regarding the redesign of Raven Quill, and this will be the one dedicated to their female aspect.
Firstly, they were given a more standard tail design rather than the almost Kirin-style one they had before, and the mane was switched out to something that matched it.
I specifically selected this base for this particular style of eyes, and literally turned the frown upside down.
For those who are unaware, this character is the result of a magic experiment gone wrong, and now they will randomly shift sexes from male to female, and as a matter of necessity, they consider themselves to be non-binary. Additionally, this has also given them functional immortality at the cost of making them dependant on drinking blood rather than the ontake of food and water..
However, on their insistance, Raven’s condition was made public knowledge, so with Royal blessing and funding, they choose to sustain themselves on transfusion units donated by the Equestrian Health Service, just as the EHS would donate them to a Thestral who is afflicted by the Red Curse.
The female aspect of Raven Quill is a quiet and private mare by nature, though is generally genial and friendly when in public. Make no mistake though, in either the female or male form, Raven is fit and physically stronger than they look while having extensive magical prowess, and thus, it would not be advisable to give Raven or the staff at their art gallery trouble, as Raven will always come and deal with the problem and/or miscreant personally.
As generally decent as Raven is, they are known among their staff as a very exacting employer who demands the utmost excellence in those that they employ, yet despite how demanding they are, they are at least fair. Also, the female aspect of Raven Quill is much quieter than the male aspect, and is more even tempered.
Now, I’m hoping to get the next piece detailing the male aspect of this character done soon, so hopefully within the next couple of days.
