After protecting and saving the queen from a bunch of crinimals. Zoom has to be hurried to the hospital because of her wounds. Where she stayed a while fore she woke up.
“Where am I-“ Then she gasped, “Majesty!” She said out loud, wincing in pain as she moved. A nearby nurse calmed her concerns.
“Queen Haven is safe. She’s actually waiting for you to wake up. She was so worried for you.” The nurse said softly. “You were out for ages,”
Zoom relaxed, “Thank goodness…”
A while later
While resting. Zoom heard a familiar voice.
“How’s my brave guard? You feeling any better, Zoom?” Haven asked as she walked towards her bed with a plate of cookies.
“Your highness. I’m so sorry for-“
“Don’t apologise,” Haven said with a smile. “It’s not your fault. You were really brave and tough.”
“What about the picnic? Did you get to go?” She asked.
“No. We rescheduled for another day. Alphabittle was very understanding.” Haven smiled, “Just because you’re a royal guard and meant to protect and serve me. Doesn’t mean your health and safety is not important. I still care for you.”
A small smile appeared on Zoom’s face. Haven then spoke again. “I made you some cookies. Thunder told me you like these kind.”
