Original Description:
 
One of the many children of Fleur de Lis and goddess of the sun, Celestia herself. This is their second-oldest son, Solstice Sunrise.
 
Sol (as he likes to go by) carries the weight of eventually continuing Celestia’s job in raising the sun one day. He takes this job very very seriously.
 
He spends most of his days studying away in the Solar Tower under Celestia and Starswirl. In his rare downtime, he’s a painter, and loves to paint landscapes the most.
 
Sol is very close with Celestia, but not so much with the rest of his family. He has a bit of a superiority complex being her student, and even when he gets a chance to talk with his siblings, he manages to push them away by heightening his importance over theirs. It’s not intentional by any means, but none of his family is mentally stable so they never talk about it.
