Introducing: A pair of mothers.  
Desert Rose is a high-class mare that, though she dreams of travelling across the lands and one day living in Saddle Arabia, was instead forced by the expectations of those around her to pursue marrying Prince Blueblood and baring their son- Prince Rosé Red. Despite marrying a prince, she is more well-known as Lady Desert Rose as to avoid confusion with the current Princesses of Equestria.  
Razzaroo is a more gentle mother, who- as far as she is concerned- has a missing daughter that she had to her ex-boyfriend. She and Prince Blueblood seperated over Prince Blueblood (and the rest of the high-class citizens of Canterlot) believing that he should keep his family bloodline pure Unicorn. Unbeknownst to Razzaroo, her daughter Potion Nova was taken and abandoned somewhere in order to get rid of evidence of Prince Blueblood’s half-unicorn half-crystal relative. Razzaroo believes her daughter is dead, not knowing that she lives under the care of a friendly zebra in the Everfree Forest.
