ThunderstormVA redesign  
While the Original oc isn’t the worst, it’s design isn’t the best either so i took it upon myself to redesign it and make it look nice, since i’m a professional who’s trained in design and colour theory.  
Don’t get me wrong tho: I’m not making this out of malice or dislike! I simply wanted to make something nice for someone, and have an example for my redesign commissions… y’know two birds with one stone 😉  
Some notes on the design:  
-The red clashes a lot with the shade of dark blue and cyan you used in the original, so i removed red completely from the colour palette. Note that i only used colours present on your drawing, and variants of said colours. red just doesn’t work with them, especially not neon red.  
-Don’t use pure black or pure white in character designs!! It never looks good. Either use a dark grey or a very dark brown… Or even very dark purple. Just not pure black. It’s literally the number 1 rule of painting/drawing.  
-I didn’t understand what was happening with the hair so i took the colours and made the hair wavy with the lighter blues inside. I think that suits the character very well 😁  
-I gave her a black-ish horn cover to make the design a lil bit more intersting. It helps her control her dark magic.  
-If she has multiple partners, then she should be Polyamorous, not Bi/Les???? Unless she has them in differnt AU’s or something.  
-Her new cutie mark is a grey crystal exploding with magic, showing how powerful she is (?)  
-I based her human outfit on one of my irl friends, after she sent me a photo of her in a skirt with a petticoat underneath… idk it just looked really cute.
