A fellow Trekkie named IronLoco, who is primarily a Lower Decker, discovered my work in the Star Trek Discord Server. So he drew this for me as a gift.
 
Here’s the second ship to bear the name Sunset Shimmer. The past is not today.
 
After the original ship was destroyed in 2422 when Vice Admiral Becky Ray Shoichet self-destructed it to destroy the Aridaginatan queen, it ended the Federation-Aridaginatan war in the process. Starfleet thanked her for defeating the Aridaginatans. So, they gave her command of the Sunset Shimmer-A. Shoichet gratefully accepted command.
 
Two years into her mission, Commander Inat’p finally was promoted to captain and given command of his own ship, the Enterprise NCC-1701-G, and left the Sunset Shimmer to command the Enterprise. Inat’p would become an admiral in the future and command the USS Owen Paris, an Empathy-class starship.
 
Specs are the same as her predecessor.
