The main earth ponies of the new generation! This is how I portray them in my headcanon  
 
Sheriff Trailblazer  
~Goes by “Blaze” by his friends  
~Talent is being able to help, protect, and look after both people and animals  
~Takes his job seriously but isn’t uptight. A laid back fella.  
~Critter magnet, has a mysterious aura that makes animals around him feel like they’re safe- therefore comes forth the animal adoration!  
~Bit of a country accent goin’ on thar  
~Adored by the Maretime Bay citizens as a highly competent sheriff (has a bit of an ego from this, and sometimes takes “heroic” action when it’s not needed)  
~Probably the last person in the town that tolerates Sunny’s ideals and protests as her “last true friend” around there. He has his doubts about the pegasi and unicorns like everyone else (though not as much to the point of “lock himself away” fear), but also deep down wants to believe what Sunny and her dad were saying about friendship between races was true  
~Used to be a part-time male model before going into law practice officially (hence why he has a calendar of himself in the movie)  
~Oblivious to facial/body language most of the time  
 
Sunscout  
~Goes by “Sunny” by practically everyone  
~Carries on her late father’s ideas of ponykind peace  
~Really friendly and welcoming of others (unless prompted by the other party to lose her trust with them)  
~Blank flank and unknown talent (sometimes teased that her talent is being a bubble-headed motormouth)  
~Aspires to get the races back together, no matter the cost. She also wishes to find out why they split and who/what took the magic they had  
~Rollerblading master!  
~Constantly goes around talking about peace but gets shut down or reported to the authorities (which is why Blaze constantly asks what she’s up to nowadays)  
~Inwardly despises the thought process, marketing, and boss behind “Canterlogic”  
~Always carries her Twilight Sparkle cutie mark engraved bag and her dad’s journal with her
