Original Description:
Including a half assed story to help me in particular get my rocks off, as it were.
Part 1Andrew knew better than to even look at spam e-mails, let alone answer one. However, something about the title of a certain message caught his eye. There were dozens of others like it in the folder, but what set it apart was the way it was bordered using red apple emojis, one on either side of the text.
Opening the e-mail, it appeared to be a sketchy timeshare offer, offering a stay in an idyllic countryside home not too far from where he lived. Close enough to drive there and back in a day, at the least. The amount of time was indefinite, or rather, unspecified. In the yard of the house, there appeared to be a small orchard full of apple trees. There was quite a variety of them, going off the pictures. It seemed as if each tree had a different type of apple on it.
Against his better judgement, Andrew decided it wouldn’t hurt to at least give the property a look, see if it’s as beautiful as the pictures. To his surprise, it looked more or less identical, the only difference being the weather. While it was a clear, blue sunny day in the images, it was a slightly less clear afternoon. The sun hung in the sky, the sky itself starting to turn orange at the horizon. Looking around, he couldn’t find any sign of another person having been in the area, aside from the well-stocked kitchen.
Andrew wished he had at least spoken with another human being about this, either the people running the timeshare or someone to advise him, but once again, against these reasonable thoughts, he had blindly driven to the house, driven by something he wasn’t even cognizant of. Not yet, at least.
After a brief self-guided tour of the home, he decided to have a bite from one of the various apple trees out front. Looking around, he almost felt as if he was meant to have a specific one, searching half-obsessively for something matching this arbitrary criteria. Lo and behold, he spotted a plump, ripe Red Delicious on one of the trees and swiped it from the branch, which seemed to sway in the wind to ease his acquisition of the savory fruit. He sat down on the bench on the side of the porch, looking out into the orchard, and took a bite.
It was one of the most delicious apples he’d ever had! Every second it was in his mouth, it only tasted better! He continued eating, a feeling of satisfaction like never before gracing his being. Savoring a couple more chomps, he began to feel an unfamiliar, but not unwelcome warmth. It seemed to be more than just the sun beaming down on him. It felt like it was emanating from inside him.
