But for now, Pinkie and AJ have found out their relation and the Pie Sisters got to meet their great aunt, and AJ her grandmother on the pear side of the family for the first time. I think that about settles what this arc was going for.
Once again, this was something I considered having in Secrets of the Dragon’s Tear. But that story was set to have enough happy reunions within the final 12 chapters that it was best to keep it at is (At the very least, Granny Pie being summoned in a montage in the 2nd-to-last chapter). I don’t even think I quite had an idea yet who Pear Butter’s mother was going to be at the time anyhow. So this needed more time for me to brainstorm anyway.))
