RANT INCOMING
 
I’m not gonna lie, I actually like King Sombra more after season 9. He himself is not silly as I usually depict him, but I like his character far more than the brooding, tragic character that we usually see in the comics and most of the fan stories about him. I guess I’m just tired of the dark lord trope where he is no nonsensical, so threatening with his serious voice and whatnot.
 
I really want to see more of THIS King Sombra than the old one. While I still consider the IDW comic as his origin, I like to think that he behaves the way in the show as a way to increase his ego and not be emo.
