As soon as the signal is given, you dash forward, and swing your sword at Gerwalta, though she easily blocks the foam blade with the shaft of her spear.
Following the impact, Gerwalta forcefully pushes the blade away to the side to destabilize you. However, you use this momentum to whirl around, and susprise the griffon with a counter-attack to the chest.
The crowd gasps as the foam sword lands a hit!
Gerwalta immediately jumps backwards, putting some distance between you, and takes on a serious battle stance as she lands.
