Slice of Life
Due to my earlier comics with TyandagaArt his character became the best suited for telling this story. (Of course, he holds the right to ask for the removal of the comic, if he wants to.)

It doesn’t matter if it was your own child, your nephew or niece, cousin or the neighbour’s kid. The first time a child draws a picture for you because they think you’re amazing; that’s a good feeling. They didn’t do it just to be recognized. They didn’t do it to show off their talents or to make money… they did it because they wanted to make you happy. They wanted you to know that they love you.

And that feels amazing.

One of my nephews made a silly little heart for me. It looks odd, and the colours clash horribly, but there it hangs on my wall, like some trophy to be proud of.
