So I decided I needed to draw some stallions and just started spitballing ideas using some archetypes. I tried to incorporate the race-specific characteristics I came up with a while ago for the mares, those being the flat, sloped and upturned muzzles for pegasi, earth ponies and unicorns respectively. You’ll see those at the top left, top right and bottom right most prominantly.

They turned out pretty good, I had a lot of fun with them despite them being male and thus inferior to mares. I do have a soft spot for Fillipe there in the bottom left, he’s already got so much personality I just want to use him in my other stuff :D

I decided that Fillipe’s real name is Phil Ander since he’s always chasing the ladies, he’s a swarthy lethario-type and a complete faker. He wears a toupeee, he speaks broken spanish and french interchangeably and always wants to be the centre of attention. So everything I want to be when I grow up.
